Object of My Desire

(T&G News Service):  I had watched her for weeks...maybe months.  She is so beautiful with her long hair and wonderful sexy legs.  But, she hardly knew that I was alive.  Still I had hope.  Today, I finally got up the courage to tell her how I felt about her.  I pleaded my case and she...she laughed and told me to get out of her sight and out of her home.  She just left me there.

I don't know what came over me.  There were some of her many silk scarves that she wore around her neck and sometimes over her head.  They were in a pile on a table.  I assume they were about to be filed away in some drawer awaiting the next time that she required an accessory of this or that color or pattern to accent her outfit.  Or perhaps until she decided to put the top down on her rather expensive convertible.  I picked one up and smelled it.  It had her scent on it, of course...one smell almost drove me crazy.  If I couldn't have the object of my desire, then I would take this small personal item from her extensive collection of scarves.  She wouldn't miss it.  She would think that it was misplaced.

I heard her angry voice before I realized that she was standing close to me.  How dare I touch her scarves?  She was threatening to call the police, sue me, and do terrible things to my body...all in the same triad of words she was yelling at me.  I moved back and she approached.  Her face was within inches of mine.  I could smell her.  Then I did something really crazy...I grabbed her...spun her around and grabbed both of her hands.  She struggled, but I quickly wrapped the scarf around her hands securing them.  I pushed her onto a sofa and grabbed another scarf.  I tied her legs at the ankles.  Scarf after scarf and her struggles became less effective.  Finally she just looked at me.  No more curse words...no more threats.

She finally told me that if I didn't untie her that she would be forced to scream and someone would find her and I would go to jail.  Why is it that intelligent people do such stupid things?   Why warn me?  Of course, I agreed to untie her.  I moved behind her.  The knot of the double handkerchief gag was in her mouth before she could utter a sound.  Well...that wasn't really true...she could still make some noise so I got another silk scarf and tied it over her gagged mouth.  Now her protests were nicely subdued.
